- The Brazilian inisists he would never want to play with Ronaldo
- Barcelona are second in the La Liga table, six points Real Madrid
Barcelona and Real Madrid are eternal rivals and seeing a player turn out for both sides is an anomaly.
Players like Ronaldo De Lima, Luis Figo, Luis Enrique (current Barcelona coach) are the anomalies who have played for both sides.
Despite the obvious hate, players on both sides would love to play on the same side. Recall Cristiano Ronaldo saying he would love to be teammates with Messi?
Brazilian forward Neymar has now revealed the one Real Madrid player he would love to play with.
Speaking to CNN, the 24-year-old was asked which player from Barcelona's arch rivals he would like to play with at the Nou Camp and he answered Marcelo, the left back and assistant captain.
“To play with me at Barcelona?," said Neymar when asked who he would select.
"I would pick Marcelo. Because he’s my friend.”
When asked to confirm that he would not consider Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar answered: “No I’d pick Marcelo.”
Neymar and Marcelo are Brazilian teammates
Barcelona are currently second in the La Liga table, six points behind league leaders Real Madrid.
Luis Enrique's side were denied all three points in the most recent El Clasico fixture when Sergio Ramos' late header secured a 1-1 draw for Real Madrid.
