After 7 months of inaction, Arsenal star set to return, could face Manchester City

- Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is set to return to action after seven months nursing a knee injury
- Welbeck has been out of action for the Gunners due to the knee injury he sustained in May 2016
- He is expected at full training with his teammates from next week
English Premier League club Arsenal are now set to welcome back their star striker Danny Welbeck who has been out of action for seven months after picking up a knee injury.

The forward whose career has been baptized with lots of injuries since the last two seasons has almost completed his rehabilitation from the knee injury he sustained.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger explained on Friday, December 16, 2016 that the 26-year-old still has work to do before he can be fit for matches.

''Yes, Danny Welback is one week away from completing normal training, and it will take him some time before he will be back in the squad because he has not played for a long time,'' Wenger said.
Last season, Welbeck was out of action for 10 months, and made a return in February 2016 before having a set back in the Gunners 2-2 draw at Manchester City in May 2016.
After losing at Everton on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, Arsenal will face Manchester City on Sunday, December 18, 2016 and Arsenal boss said he will take the same squad to the Etihad stadium.
