Breaking: Ronaldo hat-trick fires Real Madrid to Club World Cup title

- Real Madrid have now extended their unbeaten run to 37 games in all competition
Real Madrid have won the 2016 Club World Cup title on Sunday, December 18, 2016 after defeating Japanese side Kashima Antlers 4-2 in the final played at the Nissan stadium in Yokahama.

Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo once again proved superb for his club as he netted a hat-trick to help the Galaticos win the title in Japan.
Real Madrid took the lead in the 8th minutes through Frenchman Karim Benzema, but Gaku Shibasaki restored parity for the Japanese club in the 43rd minutes.
Kashima Antlers then went ahead with Shibasaki netting his second goal in the 52nd minutes before Cristiano Ronaldo leveled up with a penalty in the 60th minutes.
The former Manchester United winger then scored two more goals in the extra time to help Real Madrid win the title.
